2. Nature of the Service

askBhargava provides Vedic astrology chart calculations and AI-generated interpretations for informational and entertainment purposes only. Our service:

• Is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice
• Should not be used as the sole basis for important life decisions
• Presents traditional Vedic astrology concepts computed with Swiss Ephemeris precision
• Uses AI (Anthropic Claude) for interpretive text, which may contain inaccuracies

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate birth data for chart calculations. You are responsible for how you interpret and act upon the information provided by the service.

4. Intellectual Property

The askBhargava brand, interface design, and proprietary algorithms are the intellectual property of askBhargava. Swiss Ephemeris is used under the GNU GPL and Astrodienst license. Chart data generated for you is yours to keep and share.

5. Limitation of Liability

askBhargava is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to decisions made based on astrological interpretations.

6. Prohibited Uses

• Automated scraping or bulk API access without authorization
• Reverse engineering the calculation engine
• Using the service to harass, discriminate, or mislead others
• Reselling AI interpretations as your own professional advice

6a. Payments, Refunds & Disputes

Paid features are one-time purchases (no subscriptions): an AI chat conversation pass, a single reading section, the complete AI reading, or a consultation booking. Prices are shown before payment; checkout is processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.

Refunds: if a paid generation fails for a technical reason (the reading or answer was not delivered), contact us within 7 days and we will re-run it or refund the purchase in full. Because AI readings and chat answers are digital content delivered immediately and, per our no-storage policy, exist only on your device, we cannot offer refunds for delivered content based on disagreement with its interpretive nature — astrology is inherently interpretive (see Section 1). Consultation bookings may be rescheduled or refunded in full up to 24 hours before the scheduled time.

Disputes: please write to bhargava@askbhargava.com before opening a card dispute — genuine delivery problems are resolved with a re-run or refund, usually within 2 business days.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be noted with an updated effective date.
