2. Data We Collect

Birth data you provide: Date, time, and place of birth are sent to our servers to compute your natal chart. This data is processed in real time and is not stored persistently on our servers.

Saved in your browser only:So you don't have to re-enter your details on every page (Muhurta, AI Chat, Compatibility, Transits), we store your birth data in your browser's localStorage under the key askbhrigu:birth-data. Nothing is linked to an account — we don't have accounts. Click “Clear chart” in the header chip at any time to remove it.

No tracking or analytics on the web app: We do not use cookies, analytics scripts, or advertising trackers on the web frontend. No personal identifiers are collected automatically.

3. AI Chat Conversations

Questions you ask the AI assistant—together with the birth details (date, time and place, including approximate coordinates) needed to interpret your chart—are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. This information is transmitted to and processed by Anthropic in the United States and may therefore be subject to U.S. law, including lawful-access requests by U.S. authorities. We do not retain conversation logs after the session ends. Anthropic's data handling policies apply to the AI inference step.

Generated readings and transcripts are not stored anywhere. An AI reading or chat conversation exists only in your browser tab while it is open. The app prompts you to save it to a location of your choice as soon as it is generated, and warns you before you leave the page with unsaved content — once the tab is closed, no copy exists on our side and it cannot be recovered.

4. Third-Party Services

• Swiss Ephemeris (astronomical calculations) — no data shared
• Anthropic Claude API (AI interpretations, processed in the United States) — question + birth/chart context sent per request
• Google Fonts (typography) — subject to Google's privacy policy

5. Data Retention

Birth data and chart results exist only for the duration of your browser session. We do not maintain databases of user birth charts on the web platform.

6. Your Rights
