2. Data We Collect

Birth data you provide: Date, time, and place of birth are sent to our servers to compute your natal chart. This data is processed in real time and is not stored persistently on our servers.

Saved in your browser only: So you don't have to re-enter your details on every page (Muhurta, AI Chat, Compatibility, Transits), we store your birth data in your browser's localStorage under the key askbhrigu:birth-data. Nothing is linked to an account — we don't have accounts. Click “Clear chart” in the header chip at any time to remove it.

No cookies and no third-party trackers: We use no cookies, no advertising trackers, and no third-party analytics service. Nothing about your visit is sent to another company.

We do count how the site is used: so we can tell which pages people find hard to use, our own server counts a short list of events — a page was opened, a chart was generated, someone reached step 3 of the reading, someone started a checkout. Each count stores only the event name, the page name (never the web address), the language, the date, and a random token your browser keeps only until you close the tab. We do not store your IP address, your browser, where you came from, or anything at all from your birth details or your questions. The server refuses any value outside that fixed list, so this cannot quietly grow. If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal, nothing is counted at all.

Protection from attacks: requests to the site pass through Amazon CloudFront and AWS WAF, run by Amazon Web Services, which already hosts the site. They read your IP address only to deliver the page and to block attacks and floods of traffic. We keep no request logs; AWS retains a small sample of recent requests for up to three hours for security monitoring.

3. AI Chat Conversations

Questions you ask the AI assistant—together with the birth details (date, time and place, including approximate coordinates) needed to interpret your chart—are sent to Anthropic's AI API for processing. This information is transmitted to and processed by Anthropic in the United States and may therefore be subject to U.S. law, including lawful-access requests by U.S. authorities. We do not retain conversation logs after the session ends. Anthropic's data handling policies apply to the AI inference step.

Generated readings and transcripts are not stored anywhere. An AI reading or chat conversation exists only in your browser tab while it is open. The app prompts you to save it to a location of your choice as soon as it is generated, and warns you before you leave the page with unsaved content — once the tab is closed, no copy exists on our side and it cannot be recovered.

4. Third-Party Services

• NASA JPL DE440 ephemeris (astronomical calculations, run on our own server) — no data shared
• Anthropic (AI interpretations, processed in the United States) — question + birth/chart context sent per request
• Google Fonts (typography) — subject to Google's privacy policy

5. Data Retention

Birth data and chart results exist only for the duration of your browser session. We do not maintain databases of user birth charts on the web platform.

6. Your Rights
